The 30mm socket required to change injectors, is there anything special about it. I know it designed to not break off the nipples, but is how does this work? Does the socket only allow the injector to go in about 3/8 of an inch into the socket? I know it also has the 6 sided end for a wrench as well. Just needing to know before I drop the money on a used one.

I believe it's deeper than a reg deep well socket
AZ has them, you buy, use, and return and get you money back.

Do a search here - it has been covered many times. Most use 30mm regular deep well from one of the box auto parts stores - mine came from AZ and was A LOT cheaper than the special injector socket and has plenty of clearance for the return line nipples.

The AZ here where I'm at had both the ingector socket and a 30mm axle nut socket. I chose the 12.99 axle socket and it worked great. Plenty of room for everything to fit inside and not damage the nipples or having to take the cover off the end.

Hope this helps.

John
