I have had a few requests to make informative videos so here are a couple.

First video we show how we square decks and cut o-ring groves.

Second video we show the balancing process for crankshafts after all other parts of the assembly are balanced.



 
The crank machine, no, but spinning faster doesn't give different results. I'll post the printouts of the specs that show the first spin vs final spin for the 2 I did that day, it tells a much better story than I can on why balancing is so important.
 
Here are spec sheets for 2 cranks. Left means rear right means front of the crank. Look at the rpm & force column, that is the force put on main bearings & webs. The 3K rpm is about the max these cranks will see so that pertains mostly ....
