In truck phone

So some trucks have too many options. Mine has the built in phone, I have never used it. And now after a long trip it wont shut up. Any time I open the doors or start the truck it says, "phone unavailable" before it will do anything. It is VERY annoying! I unplugged the info fuse hoping it would reset, but it did not do any good. Any other thoughts are appreciated.

What do you mean the built in phone? Do you mean OnStar?

mine did the same thing just left the fuse out and have had no issues

Yes it has a phone through the onstar. I did unplug the info fuse.

My dads truck does the same thing. For the life of me I can't figure out how to fix it.

The Phone button on the steering wheel has something to do with it. Have you tried pressing it to see if you can get it to "shut up" .

From what I read here and other sights, I pulled the info fuse and if I really want to go further I can unplug the black box behind the glove box.
