Hi, I just joined yesterday

I am a retired equipment operator (turned grade-checker), retired 2 years now. From working around diesel equipment I decided to try diesels for me.
First was a new '79 VW Rabbit, what a GOOD car! then an '80 Rabbit PU, JUNK. An '82 Datsun Diesel, and then a (all the rest used) '82 6.2 Chev Silverado. (actually it was listed as '81, a very early one), That was a good truck. '84 6.2 Suburban, then what I drive now, an '84 6.2 Blazer, besides my '83 MB 300CD coupe. I have done most all maintenence On my vechicles but I drew the line on trannies. Anyway, here I am, , -cornemuse-

Hey! Welcome to The Truck Stop, the best place on the web for information and technical assistance with your GM 6.x diesel! The guys around here are the best, and will be happy to have you join our community.

Take a few minutes, and click on the links in MY signature in order to fill out YOUR signature, or to browse through the 6.5 Technical Reference Library (full of information supplied by our members!), or to look over the Maintenance and Troubleshooting checklist.

Then pull up a chair, grab a cuppa joe, and pull up a seat over there, near the fire, while you look around the place and meet the guys.

Welcome aboard!

Jim
