Just put my big tires back on and when I flexed the suspension the tire on my passenger side rubbed the back of the wheel well at full lock. :mad2: I never had this problem before so I assume the bars sagged over the winter. Is it possible to get longer bolts for the stock torsion bars? Otherwise it looks like I'll be doing keys. I won't be trimming the back wheel well.

If you're gonna put keys in you should probably put the Cognito UCAs on. My first thought with longer bolts would be as you push the stock keys up further you will be pushing more and more towards the end of the key.

I'd like to put the Cognito uca's on but don't have the money for that right now. I plan on doing that after the ball joints wear out on the stockers.

Towards the end of the key... I think I know what you mean, are you thinking that would be a weak point or it just wouldn't work out?

Yes, just that as you crank them higher the point where the bolt contacts the key will move out towards the tip. I'm not sure how much material is out there, i.e. how strong it is.

If you're aware of the excessive wear and can live with it right now, then your cheapest & safest route probably is the new keys.

Yeah, I hear it all the time about how bad it is. My cv angles weren't bad at all though when I first maxxed the keys so I'm not too worried about it. I'll replace the ucas with Cognito's when the time comes. I'll probably get keys soon. My tires are rubbing with daily driving...drives me nuts.

Thanks for the feedback.
