something small broke under the horn. small wire like metal popped out and I notice the weal horn won't work anymore. How do you get the center thing off...I don't want to just break it off. Seems like a ring thing is missing according to diagram. I used to do em at dealer in 72... can anyone just lead me through it please.

The lock ring? you need a special tool to compress it til you can get the snap ring out. Most auto parts sells them (at least used to, not sure now).

I have a puller. I'm simply talking the horn button.
