...but Babe is still at the dealer...he get's finished up on Monday... I just hope the dude working on him remembers where he left off.. I'm dieing to get my truck back....it's gonna be a loooong weekend....

Good to hear. Just think of it this way, after all the hassle and waiting the General is still taking care of Babe.

No problem. Whenever, its cool. I guess that makes sense now why you needed it. I never thought of that. At least its done now. Is it runnin ok?

Uhhgg....I got a call a while ago saying that they had it together, started running it and testing it....low return line pressure. They think it's leaking inside, so they pulled one Valve cover off and are troubleshooting it now.....I hate letting anyone else work on my truck.....

Now they're saying the cp3 is bad... won't hold pressure...the last dealer said it held pressure too good for the injectors to be warrantied....WTF? now I wish I would have just done it myself...

Well, I brought it home tonight...notice I didn't say drive...Drug it home on the trailer....AGAIN!! But know it has new injectors...yeah! Man it sucks not having a deal that's worth a shit here....

Did the previous dealer document their findings? (The dealer that said the CP3 held pressure too well.) If they did, get a copy of it and show the fools who now say it is bad.

Yeah I did that, they still say it's bad...I don't buy it... I'm gonna put dye in the fuel, pull the valve covers off, reconnect the lines, find the leak, take pics.... I would be shocked to find out the CP3 is leaking...

check out mcrats site and see if they have seen a front cp3 seal go bad and leak ungodly amounts of fuel in the engine. it is worth a shot. like is told you i have never heard of this. i have seen some beat ass trucks to:D

Well I'm making slow progress on this....

Go to looking at everything on the truck as delivered and found the following.

Everything is really dirty.

Hose clamps are missing from a couple cooling lines.

One of the boost tube clamps is loose.

Wire and plug on the WIF sensor is gone.

Fuel heat was left unplugged.

Intake hose clamps are loose.

Everything will be documented, then I'm going for blood....

I checked the balance rates and two injectors are 2.5 to 3 in prk, 4 in drive...WTF!

The pressure ran up as commanded up to 21K....acording to them it will only run up to half that...Awesome!
