will be retrieving some goodies, remote PMD,filters, aglow plug controller (thanks Paveltolz) for my new to me rig (top of my sig).
The fermanator recomended injectors for my kind of mileage. My question is can my exsisting injectors be redone as is? Completely new ones? Or a combo of my old ones with bosch nozzles?
As You can tell I´m new to this game. Thanks for bearing with me. g

ps should I do a timing chain/harmonic balancer now?

Thanks guys. g

Your old injectors can be rebuilt with new nozzles. Rockauto.com sells the nozzles for around $15 each. They then have to have the pop pressure set. Some have built ther own tester and some ,like me, bought a pre made one. The problem with doing your own is knowing what size shims to use and buy. I bought a huge kit that cost $300+. Or you can take them to a injection shop to have them set. Some charge as little as $5 each. Some charge $20 or more each. I set mine to within 25psi of each other. I have tested brand new injectors and they will vary over 200 psi. So either way they need to be tested and balanced.
Timing chains usually make it to 250,000 miles. Replace with cloyes set. They are much tighter than most others. Melling was very loose.
If you decide to replace the timing chain/sprockets ,I would reccomend replacing the water pump with a 97 HO water pump. It has 130 gpm vs. 80gpm of a 95 water pump and is a direct bolt on.
I would replace the harmonic balancer. They are a 100,000mile thing ,to be safe.
