Ok, I got the New Injen / Amsoil Intake about a Month or 2 ago. I also got EFI Live.

Since I've Owned my Truck, whenever I Filled Up, my Highest Distance To Empty was 346mi (except when on a Road Trip).

WELL...after having the Intake & EFI, and giving the Truck Time to Adjust and all that stuff, my last Fill Up resulted in a DTE of 389. Now, I know the DIC isn't the most accurate thing in the World, but still, over a 40mi gain has gotta be good for something.

My Driving Style hasn't changed at all, and I didn't switch Stations I Buy my Fuel from either. I'm not exactly running a small Tune on EFI either. I'm running something Comparable to a PPE Level 6, maybe even a lil more.

So a HUGE Thumbs up to the Injen / Amsoil Intake and DuramaxTuner for Building my EFI Files.

You can't trust the DIC mileage with a non-factory tune installed. You have to check mileage the old fashioned way. My Predator tuner made the DIC mileage jump up several MPG, but hand calculated the mileage is only about 1/2 MPG better than stock. The more agressive the tune you install, the further off the DIC mileage will be.

I'll Hand Calculate next Tank.

The Predator on my '05 set at 65hp tune, the DIC would show me geting close to 32 mpg. Before I knew that the DIC could be off that much, I was so excited. Then I actually hand calculated it, about 21 mpg.

James, thats cool that you are happy with that intake. Thought aobut looking into those. The do seem to be on the pricey side of intakes.

Yea, but IMO, that Intake is worth it.

And don't forget, Wrecker is an Amsoil Dealer, so PM him and see if he can cut you a Deal on one.
