I have lousy braking (can't lock tires) and a vibration sound at the Hydroboost when braking and a slight feel when braking like the ABS is working (relay was pulled years ago). What do you guys think? I have also wondered if I need a Tech2 bleed but only in the past year or so(?) have I had the sound and vibration.

Your power steering pump in good shape? Mine is bad and i can defanately feel it in the brake pedal.

Going to change mine out right now.

Yes, but speaking from my experience you need a new pump.

I just did one today, and my brakes and steering are super smooth and quiet. I have a thread going where It showed how I flushed them, extremely easy, and you want to flush the system first anyhow before changing your pump to get the old crap out, so it can't hurt to see if it buys you more time.

BUT, I felt the pump in the pedal also, now it is smooth as silk.

FWIW, I would not bother just changing the pump inside the resevoir if you have EVO (you'll see the connector at the bottom of the p/s pump, feel for it, its hard to see at first. I think it was 97+ but not sure. Let me find the link.
