How much is a used IP worth

A friend of mine owns a shop and I gave him a known good used IP for a customer. Just wondering what the value of the IP is. It's already on the truck and running.

Also has anyone ever seen an IP only send fuel to 7 cyls?

$200-250 sounds fair i think.

In theory its impossible to have only 7 of the outlets give fuel, if one deadheads cause of a plugged delivery valve(were the inj line connects to the IP) it would prob break the shaft where it connects to the rotor.
There are however 2 springloaded poppets in the head,...maybe they work as relief valve,..I dunno.

Unless there is an hickup in the ECM/PMD that fails to signal the FS to close on a given point in the firing order and causes a blank.

he tried a diff PMD (my spare) with no luck but seemed to work fine with a diff IP. Talked to him a lil more tonight and he said now he is having inj problems. starting to wonder if there's something more

There's no fuel at #7 or just misfire? Lack of compression in #7?

Nno fuel. That same cyl did have a bad intake valve
