How do you install the male compression for the engine oil feed line into the top of the turbo?

Is there any sealant on the threads or anything?

I screwed up and didn't hold mine with a wrench when I took the oil line off and twisted the line because the male compression loosened before the compression. Being blind as I am, I didn't see what was happening until the line was already twisted

I apply Permatex High Performance Thread Sealant to the male fitting that screws in to the top of turbo and tighten it up (Don't recall what the torque spec is). Nothing on the Oil Feed Line connection side of things.

The seal is actually the top of the nipple and the seal surface in the hose connector. The threads do not seal at all on the turbo oil connection. If it is leaking the surface is dirty or nicked. Maybe even loose...

You misundertook the connection I was referring to. NOT the compression connection, The pipe threaded end that screws into the turbo.

I often use anti-seez or something around compression fittings, but not on the sealing surfaCES

I almost always slide back the compression fitting on the tube and apply a coat of something there so it does not corrode.
