I changed the fuel filter in my new (to me) 6.5 sub and there wasn´t the small screen in the old filter. So I´m running it without until I can get a new one. Is this a bad idea? Where can I get this small screen? Thanks for any replys. g

Called a last ditch screen . Put there in case fliter should decide to cme apart & pieces head for the ip. Stanadyne dealers should be a source I beliieve

Like 96 Oil Burner said it should be in the FFM. Not in the filter. I needed one and I just googled standyne dealer and found on close by for like 2 bucks also.
