I'm Norm. My C3500 is my first diesel, and I like it. It has been being difficult lately, but with the help from some more experienced owners, I am getting it straightened out.

:welcome2: Norm, what part of East Tennessee you in?

Just ask some questions on here in the appropriate areas and these guys can help you. Also you can use search and come up with tons of stuff.

Hey Leroy, here is a link to a shot of the truck. My sig has not been showing, at least in the preview mode, and as near as I can tell, I seem to be blocked from putting a pic into my messages. The sig pic is pretty much useless, as it appeaars to be only slightly larger than my avatar. Year, the rear fenders are dull. That is because I wanted them to be pretty much impervious to being scratched up by bush limbs in a narrow driveway (can you guess how I came up with that idea?), so they are coated with bed liner. On the shell, inside the 2 doors on each side are full length shelves that are around 15 inches deep.

Mods are minimal... power leather seats from an 03 Avalanche, straight exhaust from the turbo back, your pmd and cable, K&N filter, and I will be adding either my Galaxy 959, 95 DX-73 CB, once I am satisfied with my console. It is looking like I may have to build one, to get one that serves my needs. You've seen the desks where the top pivots up, and then comes down across your lap? Well, that is what I want. I might need to do some paperwork. I have plenty of space... when I slide the driver's seat all the way back, my wife can sit on my lap sideways, and not be jammed into the steering wheel... btw, she is build more like a Caddy than a "smart car", hehehe

Great looking truck. I owned a spray on bed liner company once and we used to spray the entire vehicle for some customers. Even did a camo Suburban. You might google "airplane salvage" and see what comes up. I know alot of them have the flip out table in the seats like you discribed.
Per our email make sure to locate PMD outside engine compartment.

Again welcome

Gotcha, and thanks for the airplane salvage tip.

yep, I like Cades Cove, very pretty area... as long as you aren't in bumper-bumper traffic!

The BPS, yep, I've been there a couple of times, and we ate at the restaurant once (unless I have my stores confused). It is exit 407, and I am 6.6 miles off exit 350.

Great area, Norm. I have cousins in the area around Knoxville and Greeneville. Also my sisters daughter graduated from ETSU and now works in Johnson City.
