I really like the site. I found myself on the site many times after google'in things and finding solutions to similar issues other users have had. I have a 94' Suburban 6.5 td code "F", 87 Blazer 5.7L on muds and just handed my first diesel over to my brother 88 Suburban 6.2L N/A. I want to add grounds to the engine, upgrade my intake and exhaust on the 6.5 its too quiet. I want to relocate my Fsd heat sink (ssdiesel) my brother installed on the 6.5 because the service light comes on when accelerating on the freeway and i get it to turn of by letting off the accelerator. I don't know pet peeve of mine the light annoys me. So much i want to do to ensure my diesel runs forever haha

Welcome, got pictures of your truck? Check my web site below when you get a chance.

Welcome, and you've found the right place for 6.5 enthusiasts as these guys eat, sleep, and breathe em. As for your check engine light, sure sounds like a code 78 to me which is normally low boost from a bad wastegate solonoid. Fill out your signature so we all know what you have in every post, and feel free to post in the 6.5 section about your ills. And most any 6.5 part you could need can either befound here, or they will point you in the right direction to find it.

Welcome to The Truck Stop.

You got your first fix advice in your introduction post. That sets a new standard here. No doubt you will visit for many more.
