:D One more ? on the ecm chips. That BNTB code you found shows it will work with the 5068 IP correct? Along with the K3500, DRW, and NV4500.

I can look it up tonight at home. But if you need a 5068 IP compatable chip for a manual tranny I can send you one, stock programming. Or I can at least tell you other 5068 IP compatable EPROM codes.

That would be great. Let me know how much. My zip is 44491 for shipping purposes. Or send me a message with your phone number and I'll call you. Also give me a time to call since I am EST and your PST. Thanks Joe
PS believe it or not the local stealer quoted me $77.19 for the chip. 1-2 week led time. I figured $100- $150.

Well I went back to dealer monday just to verify his #'s. Found that the GM comp listed 2 chips for my truck. One was the BNTB ($77.19)the other didnt list the code ($53.27). I opted for the cheaper one. It came in today. Went and picked it up. Guess what it was the BNTF chip!!!!! GM # 16215261. Now I'll see if my "little" issues go away. (crossing fingers). Is there any special thing I need to do after the new chip goes in? Planning on just unhooking batteries for awhile then putting them back on.
