replaceing steering and suspension stuff on my 94 gmc 3/4 (8600) 4x4 my question is about sway bar end links does it matter if the bolt is upside down the bushings are all in the right place
 
If you had a lot of bolt sticking out the bottom and went over a big rock or something it could bend it, but it's unlikely, and I wouldn't worry about it.
 
The lower arms on these 3/4-1ton trucks are hollow- two halves. the SB bushings clamp to the top half layer. There's 1.5ish dia hole in the bottom half for access.
