HELP...key fob not working

here is what I have done to remedy the problem

changed the batteries in both controllers
checked the fuses just inside the drivers door...didnt check the relays though
tried the ig on off on off, then hold down lock/unlock multiple times...doesnt work

what am i missing here? how do i get those relays out of the fuse panel?

could it be the switch in the drivers side door?

If they both were dead you might need to go to the dealer and have them reprogramed
Mine turned out to be a bad BCM.

thats what im afraid of....wonder how much coin thats gonna cost?

Did you follow the instructions on the inside of the fob? IIRC you're supposed to hold lock and unlock for 7 seconds, or something.

If that doesn't work, you need to have them re-programmed with a Tech II.

or replace the bcm...gm parts direct has them for for 165 bux!
