In the new issue of MaxxTorque magazine if you look on page 77 there is a sneak peak picture of the Heath cold air intake system.

I called yesterday and the official ETA is now 3-4 weeks... Again. ;)

I saw that in there. He didn't happen to mentiion a price did he? I looks like it still draws air from the fenderwell, but looks like there is more flow in the bend to the turbo.

Can somebody scan it in and post it? I'd like to see what it looks like.

Hi.. ask Bill Heath if he can send some pic`s (maybe).. Ian sent some to me and maybe others ... mine have gone with the wind...shit happen`s...really sorry i was hoping to help out...it looks cool & i`m sure it will work well...
( Ian left Heath Diesel affective 24 sept) Good Luck..!

I saw the prototype 10 days ago at Heath's location in Ellensburg WA. Pretty cool actually. I'll be interested to see some IAT data on the device.

Oh he is going to work for ACORN then... Baaaahahahaha. SOrry had to do it.

Good for Ian! I hope his college days are filled with beer and brauds (sp) ! Maybe a little bit of classes thrown in for good measure. ;)

ACORN! Let's PRAY not as he will have to be lined against the wall too!

Still no air intakes available... Bill scrapped what they had going initially and is working on a new setup from the ground up. The early idea was based off of modified system of another product... Bill wanted a true custom 6.5 air intake.

Sorry I cannot remember the new ETA.

When I was talking to they guy that makes the propane system for Heath, they said Bill put it and about everything else on hold when the landcruiser was being built. Understandably. It is probably hard to actually improve on a late model stock system. The only realized benifit would probably be to serious haulers in hot climates that drive up grades that requires you to slow down a lot. Good for Heath if they are doing due diligence evaluating any gains and not pushing something out that isnt necessary, but I hope we get to see the data.

Geez, that makes no sense...going off to college. I went off to college...to Ellensburg. Did "The Brick" close? How about the dance hall east of town? Did CWU close its doors? This is all very suspicious.... Oh, and my nieces both attend CWU so if Ian starts popping off about his "new pump mounted driver" he and I will have words.
