I tried posting this in interiors and didn't get any response. Has anyone ever worked on the heaters on a 2000 burb (new body style)? Can't get any heat out of it the front is worse then the rear. It blows in all the diff positions just won't blow hot air. I assume it has electric motors for controls how do you test them and where are they. Don't feel like tearing apart any more dash than I have too.

could be a clogged heater core,(easiest fix) .Just remove the two heater hoses and back flush the gunk out.

I've got heat out of the front, but not the rear. Fan speed is fine. I'll be curious to see what you come up with, AK. My first thought was what Tommy mentioned... I just haven't done anything about it since, well, I don't sit in the back!:rolleyes5:

I've got to look around for a coolant flow diagram so I know exactly where to back-flush from.

Would a garden hose on full blast be sufficient to back-flush?

I have heat one the rear. Don't really think it's the core I was thinking the motor that actuates the blend door.
