The heater hose/pipe assembly coming from the crossover leaks if it is moved a little bit. I'd like to replace it with a barb fitting and regular heater hose. I see there is threads in the crossover, can I buy a threaded barb fitting to screw in there? What size threads to what size barb do I need?
Also, I am plumbing the rear heat and can't use the weird factory tee system as there is no room for it with my 3" body lift. It interferes with the turbo assembly. Can I simply buy a couple of tees and put them inline with the front heater lines? If so, does it matter which one goes where? The rear heater core simply has 2 pipes exiting the floor of the truck and I am unsure if it matters where the hot coolant enters...
In writing this, I have just realized that perhaps I need more of a Y fitting...with 2 Tee fittings in a loop system, would the coolant not want to stall? Hmmmmmmmmm
LOL :rolleyes5:
Ok, now I need help for sure! :mad2:
Lastly, what size is the factory heater lines?
TIA,
Bill
