So apparently my truck hates me now...

I went on a call...car wreck...get back and there is coolant under the truck. I figured I put too much in earlier and it came out the overflow.

Went out a while ago to see how high the water is down the road since they opened a lock up river from us and the creek is over the road. walk into the driveway and there's coolant under my truck. It's back too far to be the overflow. pop the hood and check the coolant lines pulled for the injector job, nothing. I can see where it's seeping out at the rear of the passenger side head.:wtf: Dammit!!! what's next?
 
Wash the engine off in the area of question to make sure that the coolant isn't coming from somewhere else. Check top of engine valley real good to make sure coolant isn't leaking from hose feeding turbo or other point. I am very skeptical of coolant problems after injectors are replaced, mostly with pressurized coolant that is usually caused by a pulled sleeve.

I'll check that out...I think I've had a leaking sleeve for a while now. It really looks like it's seeping out between the head and block though.


Off topic..I almost got to(had to) move to Worland for a year or so when I was a teen...:eek:
 
a bit off topic myself, but was i dreaming, or seeing things the other day? i saw in your sig that you hade a new "babe"? and it started with an f, and ended with a d?

Yeah april fools, I said a traded babe for an 09 f150. I realy like those trucks.

I have an 07 AFM 5.3/4L60e in the shop. If I can pick up a rebuilder 09 F150 this year, I'll have an LS powered one...
