I'm lookin to buy 4 HD shocks, as my truck always runs heavy. 9300-10k always lately, and my plow weighs another 1k+. So I want something that is really heavy.

I'm thinking Billstein HD's...

Anyone else have recommendations, I'd like to support our vendors if possible.

I have been told that Billstein HD's are the best you can get.

When my shocks go, that is what I am going to use.

I also want these on the front end. I would like to see how well they work. Here is a link;
truckspring.com

I want air springs for the back.

i went with bilstein's on my 2001 D2500 with a 24 vlv. I decided to go a different route and got HD shocks from carquest. Anyone know if that was a wise decision? I guess my question in general would be - does carquest and NAPA heavy duty shocks compare with other heavy duty shocks?

Another vote for Bilsteins. Nick is a great vendor to deal with too. Customer service is top notch and that goes a long ways.

I liked my Bilsteins too...I switched to Rancho 9000XL's for the adjustable factor for changing from daily/unloaded driving to towing heavy to Drag Racing...I believe Chad at Alligator and maybe Nick at Norcal(not sure) sells them...
