H1 4L80E

94+ directly interchange elctrically, but a 94 4L80E will only go into a 94. 91-93 is like a 94, but has a different lockup solenoid in them that requires different programming to run. In 95 GM added the neutral safety backup switch to the trans, so a 95+ trans will go into a 94+ truck. In 97 GM changed the cooler lines from 5/16" to 3/8", and also they changed it so that one of teh cooler lines hooks up in the front and one in the rear whereas 96 and back had both lines hooked up in the front. There is an adapter kit to put a 97+ trans into a 96- truck and reuse your stock lines. The H1 trans may have a manual parking brake on it like the 3500HD trucks and motorhomes used. You may have to swap the tailhousing over to use it in a truck.

The Ferminator is on the money as usual, only one detail:
Parking brake is part of the rear calipers and should not have the drive line brake (I wish there was room to do it on these as the rear calipers are a one off design and suck).

Look for a mated transfercase, idk if your truck has separate one or not. The transfer case in h1 is full time 4wd, and when in lock up positions it engages front and rear output as solid instead of normal position where it works like a limited slip and allows slight verience between front and rear axle. Parts in the transfercase can be swapped over to normal, but are spendy to do so.
