GP Sorensen or Standard injectors

Heath Diesel or a local Stanadyne shop would be your best choice. Everything else risks the low mile low quality Chinese nozzle cr@p.

Standard used to rebox bosch injectors. Not shure what they do now. Delphi may still be made in usa. Not shure of that either.

I bought set of standard injectors (#fj193 if i remember right) couple years ago, they were total crap, most 200k miles used original injectors are better..

You get what you pay for. You can shop around and try and find someone that will provide you with "low price" injectors, but you are naturally going to get low quality.
I'll order a set from Bill Heath when it comes time to do the 95 and the 98. Will I pay more? Yes. But I'd rather pay a little more to know that 20K from now I'm not searching for another set of $200 injectors to replace the ones that are sticking open, leaking and have unbalanced pop pressures.

Be happy you don't have a Duramax, cummins or worse a Powerstroke. Injectors are alot more than a set of 8 6.5 injectors. And forget the powerstroke HEIU injectors, they run about $400 A PIECE

Actually, the Standard Injector at RockAuto is not cheaper than the new Bosch.

So, it is not about just the price. In this case, brand is also important.

I wonder why I never got reply notifications to this thread?

I only needed one injector. I bought a new ACDelco locally for $45. Hopefully better than the last injector I put in the 96 Suburban not so long ago. No more rebuilts for me.

Naturally it had to be the #8 cylinder.

It never came in a box. It came from a local diesel shop. Apparently they took it out of the box or my wife took it out of the box before she handed it to me. She picked it up for me.
