Here Goes..

I am thinking..(ok, it`s not easy) of buying some parts from Transmission Exchange Co,, Solenoids, bla, bla, for the 4L80E.

Has any one been there...as my oldest son is over in San Antonio Texas to the Southwest Research Institute next month for the company he works for, so if i ask him politely (now i`m really hav`in to bite the dust, & don`t,,,please ask me how i managed,,,,, to get him there :)
he will buy, my needs..

Any other places that You the American People might know about, are most welcome...Okay,, i think that's It... :D

say bro, did you ever find for sure what the problem was? it sounded like tcc was a little high but not bad. the real problem sounded like a rear vss or if thats ok the antilock motor had electrical problems or was bad. did you test vss first because that could cause the other codes to throw???????? I'M interested in what you got going.

bought a master solenoid kit MS-4L80E Solenoid Master kit 4L80E 1991-on for 56 bucks. hope i can post this-sorry if not-transmissionpartsusa.com and parts worked fine. but did vss test ok?

I`m taking it into the garage 2morrow (Friday) to try & dump the codes on the ABS, the Vss was 1.220 Ohms took it out & moved a metal object back & forth in front of it, there is life in it, got this Component Resistance Chart & that says the tcc should be 20-40 Ohms. what do u
think..

Tried to send it but i can`t figure out how to.

It`s strange all this started when i bled the brakes the first time in 12 years so it could be some shit got suck somewhere. As my father used to say if it`s working leave alone, God Bless him, but i felt after 12yrs it needed it...
