Its Been a LONG time since many of use Southern New England and Eastern NY Diesel Nuts have gotten together. Join us for the Meet and Greet -make some new Friends and see old Ones !
And lets hope the weather cooperates !
 
I think I've been having too many brain farts lately. Anyhow, I really screwed up.

Printed out 75 invitations to Meet and Greet only to find I screwed up the address and restaurant name. So went back to my jobsite which is 4 miles away from restaurant, thought I corrected them with a red pen, stuffed, sealed and mailed only to find when I was back over in that area I still had screwed up again. I can not believe it.
I did get the part across from COSTCO correct.

Any how, It is The 189 Sports Bar , 189 Federal Rd, Brookfield. Across from Costco and in front of Maggie Mcflys. For direction use Costco, since the restaurant most likely will not show up for 6 months on search engines.. I gotta get off this lipitor crap !!

Spent Sat / Sun sanding my dining room floor, got first coat of commercial polyurethane on it tonight, boy I'm sure looking for relaxing with some diesel guys this Sunday.

Hope you can make it. We may have a couple guys coming down from New hampshire.
 
I'll be up there checking out a college in East Windsor so I'll be there, so I'll see you guys there. And big Blue will be with me so won't be hard to pick me out of the group of trucks lol.

I'll take my chance with the Sports Bar. Worst comes to worst I meet ya'll then head back to Jersey early if I get carded. You guys just gotta make sure there is enough of you so I blend in lol! No questions asked :haha:

I checked with the sports bar this evening and they operate under a 'cafe" license so they can have under 21 until 10 pm, so we are good to go !!

I"ll be there as will a buddy of mine.

Jamie you won't be the only one with a lifted truck. My buddy has a 94 F-250 Dually PSD, ZF-5, lifted 4", 5" stacks, with Dana 60 front axle swapped in. That's one fun truck to drive.

I should have Big Red down there if all goes well.
 
Guys as of right now I'm going to have to call out of being there for the meet. A whole bunch of not so good things on the way up(compliments of NY roads :mad2:) has left my truck less than road worthy right now. I'll be happy just to make it back home without trouble tomorrow. Sorry guys, maybe next time. Like the one in September.

Anybody had success filing for pothole damage in NY? The key word there would be sucess
 
Where are you now? Still in ct? If there's something that needs fixing for the ride let us know and maybe we can help. My shop is not far from E. Windsor and I have a trailer. Let me know if I can help.

What happened Jamie?

You might not be the only one out for the count for the meet. My pickup's Injection pump's really hurting it seems. I pray i don't have to change it and it' just some crud in there from the bad load of fuel i picked up before parking it for the winter due to the fuel issues.

For what it's worth my buddy railed a huge pothole and the trans in his 04 dakota just died. Wouldn't go into any gear. He went after the town, and was told he had to go after the construction company. He's gotten no where as there were signs posted for construction and "state liability limited" was on those signs. Not sure how NY works but it can't hurt to try.
