Now that I have 2 6.5 diesels I am having double the fun. o_Oo_Oo_O I found my old GM8 on the back shelf in the garage from my old burb (RIP). It has about 200k miles on it and hasn't been rebuilt. I took it out when I put in an ATT. My question is do I put it in my 95? The previous owner said that when he put in the new motor 5k miles ago he rebuilt the turbo as well. When I spin the wheel on both they both spin freely but the GM8 is a little tighter than the older version. should I swap them or rebuild the gm8 first. This is just till I can save up to buy a new ATT.

A few years ago i replaced my GM3 turbo with a GM8 on my '93 6.5 dually. Fabbed a turbo-master and it defiantly is an improvement over the GM3.
