I am installing new injectors and since its all apart new glow plugs too , should I stay away from any certain brand of glow plugs? is one brand better than another ? any recomendations out here ?

Yes they are self regulating. Only ones I would use are the Duratherms, but otherwise the AC Delco 60G plugs. I wouldnt mess with anything else. And ohm them all out prior to installing. Each should be less than 1 ohm between threading body and blade connector. I had a terrible set of Autolite "fast heating 60G replacement" plugs.

My only gripe with 60gs is they don't seem to work as good if you don;'t have an override. The WAP's actually worked just as good as the Duratherms but I'm not willing to gamble on the swelling. The guys on Steel Soldiers all swear by them but I have heard nothing but bad. Supposedly they fixed the swelling problem. I'm not gonna be the guinnea pig. If anyone wants a set that is only a few months old, your welcome to them.....:D

So the most preferred is Bosch Duraterms probably don't need any override in the cold part of the country

2nd is ACDelco 60G with override for the cold part of the country.

Avoid!!!: WAP (aka Wellman) and Autolite.

Supposedly...WAP fix the problem with them. Like I said te ones I took out looked like brand new but I'm not willing to take that chance.

Autolite engineer also signed up here to reply that they are of highest quality, but I had 6 of 8 completely open circuit in less than one year, and others have had swelled autolites. At least he offered to replace them. Im not trusting them again when the Duraterms seemed like better quality. The "fast heat" Autolites did work real nice for first couple months.
