I have been swapping in a military take out motor 6.5 in my 97 2500. I've been away from the project for awhile and my computer crashed with the photos. I got two oem glow plugshields and I believe they go in the two glow plugs that are under the turbo(2 center cylinders). Does anyione know if this is correct? Thanks in advance.

Thank you. My project is in Jersey and the camera with card in Ma. Now to figure out the shield near the starter. I will have a bunch of little questions till done, like can I start the truck without the turbo till injectors are primed. Easy access to glow plugs is reason.

Starting without turbo shouldn't be an issue, I did while I swapped my injectors and wanted to make sure no leaks. All I did was remove the oil fill cap and put the oil feed line right in the oil fill tube, maybe someone can hold it there just incase.

Thanks I think I have a plug kicking around. I wouldnt have thought of that. I definatly want to get the oil pressure up before starting. I'm stoked to get my favorite truck running.
