YES Get that!

well - that deal fell through. guy called me this morning and we had it set to where i was going to pick it up this evening, but then he called me back and said that the title said F35 but the truck is a F250 with ford's early version of the IFS - the twin beam system...i told him no thanks.

but there's other trucks out there, so it's alright.

I also emailed/texted about this:

79 chevrolet 2500 4x4 parts truck or fix and drive. ($500)
Axles are rebuilt with lockers. has transfercase/ 2 transmissions. NO ENGINE.
Interior is 90% there. no tears in seat. decent dashboard.
8-10 inches of lift (all suspension)
Brakes work good.
Body has very little rust for its age. (few dings and dents)
Bought for a project truck and no longer have room for it. Need gone ASAP!
Make an offer...partial trades considered.

Them wont be good on gas.... :D

I'm interested in a 500 buck truck for 3 reasons :)
1) spare vehicle for when I'm working on my DD (the K2500) - and I need a part
2) wood hauler
3) fun truck (offroading, rock crawling)

oh and a fourth
4) donor vehicle for when I can afford to start building a buggy. ):h because I'd prefer not to take from my K2500, :)

If your going to haul wood a lot, get a long bed. if not much and more of a mud toy then short bed.... just talking out loud ;) :)

I hear ya loud and clear, haha. I'm not going to be hauling wood alot - it'll be pretty much a fun vehicle - something else i can break and leave sitting behind my garage, you know.):h

Ohh I know whatca mean ):h
Good luck on your vehicle hunt!

I agree. Stay away from TTB front suspension.

nothing wrong with the TTB .... and on an F-250 a D60 or an HD D44 are a direct bolt on swap. SAS does not get any easier than on a leaf sprung TTB.

The problems with the TTB came from lack of understanding on how to tune it, poorly designed/manufactued lift kits, and poorly trained technicians when it came to things like setting the ride height and alignment.
