The Military started replacing all 6.2 with NA 6.5.

GEP didn't start building engines until late 99 when there contract with GM was up and GM turned all of the 6.5 molds and such over to them. BBy that time all 6.2's had been superceded to 6.5's.

Thanks Matuva that clears up a lot of my past post reading confusion. How do u look at ur engine and tell which it is and if it is the original motor?
