Gauge pod to cover up dash crack?

not the same but this is what i did on the 93............
used it on the door panels also..........

no. went to wal-mart, got the role of replacement carpet, cut to size, glued it on, tucked it into the corners, trimmed edges. made a piece of double fold over to stuff between the windshield and dash to cover gap. they had gray, black and tan last i looked. i cut out the speaker on the left side, only because i had to get at it, but would of left it closed like the right side.
 
I got a complete dash at a pick and pull wrecking yard for $17 with no cracks.

When I re-installed it in my truck I took my time and had no issues. I used some rubber gasket across the inside frame to keep the dash from beating itself on it. It seems to be working good so far.
