I have 93 C2500 (look at signature) and in the fuse block under the dash there is a 5A fuse labeled CRK. Any ideas what this is for? It was blown, I replaced and nothing seems to have changed....?

I'm assuming the truck started and ran when it was blown?

maybe something along the lines of some secondary electrical stuff that is suppose to activate when you start it?? Have no clue what it would be though.

While I generally don't like going to dealerships, I have found that with the right attitude on your part and the right kind of employees at the place you can get quite a bit of information from the parts counter, or even get to talk to a mechanic. Might give it a try.

Crank fuse goes to the lift pump relay by the electrical center under the hood passenger side. Relay is only on during cranking. OPS, oil pressure switch, powers lift pump after start-up. Waste of a relay really.
