Has anyone had any thoughts on a remote pump and filter system and completely remove the old filter ????????????????????

I've added a seperate electric pump back by the tank and a seperate spin on fuel filter as well. I did leave the old FFM in place too because of the water in fuel sensor and the fuel heater.

Quite a few guys have done the same thing in one way or another.

Leroy even sells a bracket for the 96+ trucks to mount a Racor filter in the engine bay, rather than the stock FFM.

I still use the stock FFM, but use a better higher pressure FRC-10 LP, that Leroy also sells, and I installed a pre-LP water separator/filter.

how do i get a hold of Leroy

We run an fs1000 fuel water separator with half in fuel line from tank to pump and mount pump and filter down on the frame rails. Done this to every diesel i've ever owned. Completely taking the stock stuff off....

Leroy is Burning Oil, he is one of our supporting vendors. Look him up under PMD Cable in the vendor list on the bottom of the forum listing page.
