1999 4x4 gmc 2500 suburban hesitates and stumbles at practically all rpm except idle. replaced lift pump and fuel filter. seems to be getting fuel to filter but no return fuel. what is best place to start tracking down the supposed blockage in return line?

Welcome to the forum PPG.
Might remove the black hose from the top front of the injection pump to the return pipe and replace it with a length of clear 1/4 inch hose.
Then watch and see if there is air blowing through that clear hose.
