a few month ago my lift pump quit but it worked on a jumper wire so i ran it to a switch in the dash seemed fine but now the truck will just quit like the ignition waqs turned off. sometimes its fine but it is hard to start when hot when cold it starts fine and runs greight till it warms up then it may just quit or notput new fuel filter in it but no differanceip seems fine but not sure any ideas?

Quit while running, could be a burned-out FSD. Hard to start when warm could be a worn-out inj. pump.

You bypassed the OPS, oil pressure switch, for your lift pump. A complete check out of the lift pump system is in order as it helps cool the above referenced PMD. Relocating it is fine, but you still need the lift pump... Check this and the grounds out before replacing the PMD. PMD's are a wear item and a spare is a good idea.
