Fuel Pressure Gauge

I do not think so. If you get a mechanical gauge it is a lot cheaper than a electronic gauge. I purchased a cheap mechanical gauge for around $15 at a local auto parts store. If you look around you will find one for cheap.

I'm looking for one to mount in the a-pillar pod. All the ones locally won't fit. We really shouldn't mount the mechanical gauge inside the cab since it may leak fuel. But that is probably what I'll do.

If I am not mistaken TD has a mechanical in one of his 6.5TD vehicles.

If it was gasoline I would say yes but, Diesel is not any where as dangerous as gasoline.

try jegs, got mine there for around 20, also put in a cut-off under hood for safety

I have the stewart warner 0-15 electric sender. 80bux cheapest I could find, but the night time illumination isn't up to par with the rest of my gagues, you have to focus in on it for a few seconds so your eyes can adjust, the light doens't go through the needle or the numbers. Daytime looks great, white faced, standard size.

Where did you get yours?

Autometer full sweep. About 200$ for the electric. For the record mounting a mech gauge in the cab is not a good idea. In an accident if your covered in diesel, trust me, you'll burn. I consider myself to have a decent set of balls and I would not run one in cab being that I have a 4 yr old who has to ride in the front seat not to mention my wife might be driving it(with my 4 yr old). You could always mount it on the cowl outside.

Thanks guy's. The one oregon used is the least expensive route that I have seen.

Yep, really nice one too, just too bad it wasn't standard size.

The ISSPRO gauges I have are nice, i would have bought that no brainer if it was standard mount.

I just ordered it. What do you mean standard mount?

Not a 2 1/16'ths gauge, wont fit in pods. Need to mount to a plate of some sort. (which wouldn't look bad, i wish I had a piece of Flat bent thin steel that goes somewhere around 4x4 shifter that I could mount toggles and gauges and stuff to. )...

I'm dying on space for toggles.. have 5 or 6....

Wait, I'm referring to The ISSPRO fuel pressure from the airplane manufacter? Isspro. IS that the gauge you ordered, or the Stewart Warner? (which is standard size)?

I got the isspro 2 1/4". I didn't notice the size difference. Oh well. It's only about 1/2-5/8 smaller so I should be able to fab it up to fit in the apillar pod.

Well, its 3/16 " LARGER than the standard mount pod. May need to mod both the pod and the gauge....

Really nice gauge with perfect readout though... had they made them standard I would have grabbed it. I really like my other ISSPRO gauges, look factory quality, night or day.
