Front end damage repair mods

So because of a recent mishap I am having to make repairs to my front end.

Firstly anyone on Long Island have any suggestions scrapyards etc where I can find a hood and diesel bumber for a 97 C/K Truck.

Secondly because of this and the need to replace the front grill I am pondering of converting from the annoying scratched up plastic lens quad lights to the base model single headlights. I am of the assumption that this will be an easy change with the following assumptions for comment?

1. The front clip/radiator support is the same for either style headlight.
2. In addition to sourcing the new sealed headlamps I just need to source the mounts with adjusters and bolt on.
3. I of course will need to change the harness from 2 to a single plugm for each side.

Find the right junk yard and you might find a 6.5 W/T front clip. There seems to be alot of Municipalities that used the 6.5 back in the day. Just my .02 you could probably get the whole clip just as cheap.

OH boy are you in luck. I have the complete W/T grille off my Tahoe with wiring etc. I went from W/T to 4 headlight. everything is interchanable and it's pretty easy to do. I used to live on LI. I am about 2 1/2 hrs from you now in CT. Could possibly ship the stuff or the CT club is having a gettogether Sunday at Cabelas. That is only about 2 hrs from LI(depending on where on LI of course). PM me if your interested. I have everything you need minus maybe a nut or bolt here and there.
