Well, I've been mulling around a center mount turbo 506 and found the firewall of my 1999 burb is already setup w/deep recess for the center mount HMMWV 506 however power is limited w/o big mods to turbo etc. and the factory downpipe for this combo is nowhere to be found.

I like the idea of easy access to the injectors with this setup.

As far as I can tell Banks no longer makes the turbo upgrade kit for this setup.

I can get the banks manifold. I have one for my build (if I can ever get it going again).
Give me a side mount any day. Injectors don't need frequent maintenance and side mount is pretty east to pull if needed.

How much space is in the back? Pics would be cool if you can. Also which 506? Any magic logo in the valley?

I'm having some kind of data error when trying to log into site so have to go around to get in, weard!

HMMWV MIL takeouts w/navistar endless highway logo.

I'll take some images and post.

I've figured how to install a larger turbo too however I still have to work out exhaust so it matches the Burb's downpipe.

HMMWV takeout

Having trouble logging in keep getting data error have to go around to get in, weird!

Anyway the 506 centermount from the HMMWV has the endless highway navistar logo.

I'll shoot some pictures and post.

I've figured how to install larger turbo just have to work out exhaust to/from larger turbine.
