Found supposedly new 6.5L injectors, is $150 bucks a deal?

If they are what they say they are, is 150 bucks a good deal?

Is there any injectors sold new that are junk? (I have not talked to the person yet, left message on ad, so therefore IDK what brand they are)

Yes, most of the supposed new or remans aren't worth the trouble. AC DELCO, BOSCH, or DELPHI are what you want to run. Search PENSACOLA diesel here in the 6.5 section and read the horror stories about leaks and what not.

At that price I would have to believe they are chineese knock-offs. I've boughten 2 sets of new medallion injectors from tim at accurate diesel. He sells quality rebuilts for the same price. $265 per set of 8. I have had no problems with them yet but I haven't put alot of miles on them.

I can't agree with that 100%. There are deals out there. You just need to find. Some sellers gouge people because they sell the good stuff. But when the price really does seem too good to be true chances are it is. $150 falls into that catagory.

well, the only thing that is half conforting is that he has other ads with stuff from 88-98 trucks, and on one of them he mentioned in the ad that he no longer has an 88-98 pickup, so he needs to get rid of his extras and spare parts. So Im hoping he is just cleaning up and wants them gone.

Sounds like he has been lead astray, but IIRC, nothing bad comes about from using SS's injectors, right?
