I wasnt happy with the amount of light from the dome light in the back seat. This is due to the dome light having to be put at the back of the cab to make a clear space for the sun roof.
I ordered 15' of LED light strip from ebay and then cut it into three strips. Two are being mounted in the bed of the truck sides, for "dome" light via an upfitter. (A separate post will be made for that when completed.)
The last strip I hot glued under the lip of the storage bins under the back seat.
I then tied it into the dome light circuit wire going up the passenger door pillar on the drivers side.
I am pleased with the results. I will be adding a resistor in to knock the voltage down to the LEDS since they are rated for 12v, and the truck can put out as much as 14V and can shorten their life.
Here is a video of it.
