So after 3 years of reviewing Treadwright.com, putting 4 tires in a "shopping basket" but never buying I finally went all the way.

Ironically they are on the same brand casings of the tires I've been running on.

Mounted/Balanced and on the truck.

Total cost after having a local tire store put them on was just a hair above $600. Essentially $800 cheaper than buying from the local stores. Don't have much of a review so far since I've put all of about 100 miles on them (with price of gas don't expect me to drive it much either :( ). Didn't have any problems balancing, you can see the retread line if you look, but it doesn't stand out. Zero road noise.

Excellent choice. I have the similar ones, open country H/T 265/70/17LT and love them. Got them last fall. Light years better than the Michelin LTX (passenger) tires they replaced. Did you add the cool badges??

That's a very nice pile of cash you saved. Hopefully they perform as you expected them to and you can update us later down the road.

Nice. Why is it that your wheels look tiny whereas the PYO's on our truck look bigger, but are still 16's? Must be the dish of the wheel or something...

Thanks all. Keep in mind I only put on about 6,000 miles last year so a long term review will take awhile :)

I got those badges off ebay when I bought the truck. Seemed only proper that I had to let everyone know it's not a mere 6.0 under the hood. You dmax guys get badges, so I needed one too :D

Considering the Toyo AT's I had before barely made 20k miles before hitting wear indicators and I paid over $1,000 for them it won't take much for these to surpass my expectations.

As far as the wheels looking tiny, probably just the angle of the pics making them look small. The 3500srw do get 16x7 rims instead of 16x6.5 that 2500HD's get. Shouldn't be anything you'd notice, but the wider something is the smaller it will seem.

This is a little better angle with the factory crapstones back in 2006.

They look really nice and hope the best for them working out for you. I did the same thing when I bought my BFG's, went to their website and put a set of 4 in the shopping cart, but never pulled the trigger. I too would really like to hear good feed back from you about these. And like you said, the price is very, very hard to beat. Saving upwards of $800 is a BIG deal!

I would've sleepless nights if i where to pay that much for tires.:agreed:
I get them free from the local land fill ;)
I just have too replace them more often.:hihi:

I've been running treadwrights on one of my trucks for 3 years. It's a different tread pattern from these and on michelin casings. Very slight high speed whine. excellent traction in snow and ice. No problems. I have a couple friends that have them also on newer duallys with no problems. They are definitely a bargain.
