I have been contemplating on getting one of these for a long time. I finally bit the bullet and did it.

I got a Filter-Mag RA-365. I put it on my truck yesterday. All it does is lock in place by all the magnets.

I have seen post after post of different members who cut open there oil filters and it looks like it does something.

I guess I can know try that out. Here is what it looks like off the truck.






I will get a picture of it on the truck when the rain lets up.

I plan on changing my oil this weekend, we will see what this thing can do in less than four days and 200 miles.

I also have 2 on the engine oil filter and 1 on the fuel filter.
They're the type you don't want your fingers between when they decide to 'join up'.

I have had one on my oil filter and my Pre-OEM racor fuel filter for about 8 years now. After cutting one of ea. open and seeing the stuff that was attached to the inside of the filter case, I was convinced this was a good thing....peace of mind is priceless.
