I'm doing the Feed The Beast mod and the instructions call for thread sealant on the new FM fitting. What type of thread sealant do you use?

Tapered tread should be self sealing but i use Teflon tape or liquid tread sealer(i hate having to do things twice)
I like Goop brand adhesive/sealant. If you dont use anything it will leak.

I was wondering if the sealant used on galvanized pipe for natural gas would work?
This is going back together tomorrow.
I would say yes. Just a dab will do.

OK, where does the rear fuel line to the FM come from? I'd like to remove and replace the whole thing while I'm doing this today.

Lift Pump (LP) under the driver seat behind the frame.

It is about a 8-10" hose coming off a steel fuel line above the transmission. I changed mine out.

Yes, the hose part is short. 3/8" hose which you already have.
The rest to the LP are steel.
