I need to enhance my cooling ability. I have heard about the mod involving the Dmax fan. But, I have never heard about what fan clutch to use. I have the HO water pump, and a spin on (one large nut) fan clutch. I was given part numbers for a fan and fan clutch (fan 15-80690, clutch 15-4691), but they look to me to be just replacement parts...not upgrades. Can anyone tell me the part numbers and process details to this Dmax fan/fan clutch mod upgrade, or one just as good, if not better?

Fan/fan clutch modification

The DURAMAX fan blade is the 01-05 fan blade from a 2500/3500 truck with a DURAMAX. As to fan clutches, many are running the HAYDEN 2886 fan clutch which is from a medium duty KODIAK truck with a DURAMAX. Your next option is the KENNEDY special calibration fan clutch which is a HAYDEN clutch with some special changes to it for him.
