Exterior air hose reel

Has anyone body mounted a hose reel outside of their shop

We're been talking about it for years.

We have a hose reel that's not in use.

Do they sell covers for outside use?

Or would It b better to buy a retractable air hose reel made to be mounted on an Exterior wall?

I could make a cover, but the extra time involved might put the kabosh to the project

I don't see why you couldn't.

Would you be plumbing it from the inside to the outside? Might want to install a drop leg and valve on the inside wall to help keep the line free from water, especially during colder periods.
