i am looking for an exhaust system for my brothers truck. Its a 2001 HD dmax, ecsb 4x4. He has no programmer yet but wants a exhaust sytem first. He was thinking 5", what do you guys think about what to put on his set up. I am going to let him try my ppe tuner, Dan from PPE says it will work, if he likes it he wants exhaust and tuner. The problem is he is cheap but i know i can get him something fairly cheap can't I.

What size and brand do you guys recommend?, and where do i get it.
 
I really like MBRP, and have had good results with mine. The 5" system will give him a different sound than the 4". but will likely not result in much of a performance difference based on what he appears to have planned for his truck.

We have some great vendors here who can guide you on exhaust brands, specs and prices for your buddy's application. You might want to check with Alligator Performance, TTS, XDP and Nor-Cal for their recommendations.

Hey, the PPE is going to be the best programmer for his truck, and we have a few inexpensive PPE options. As far as exhaust kits go, we have several kits starting in the $275 range that will fit the bill. If he is looking for a less expensive tuner, try the DiabloSport Predator. One of the best budget tuners in the business.

You already have Chad, thank you. I was leaning towards the ppe myself because mine has been great unless we both split the efi live. Where can i see the exhaust you mentioned?
