Never seen one, but it's kinda cool. I think the extra window should be as tall as the other windows for aesthetics. Any pics of the interior by chance?
Limited numbers of them for govt contract use done by aftermarket coach-works it seemed the builders got sloppy after the late 40's and limited customs especially 4x4 bring good $$$$$$ at auction.
Wow. They riveted it together! No wonder there are stress cracks inside by the rear pillar. Proof an upfitter can make something look like its engineered while flying by the seat of their pants. We knew of body twist for about 40 years before this was built, we some knew and I guess some didn't.
I wouldn't mind if it was, before I started driving 6.5s I had a 70 Chevy. This one needs a lot of sheet metal work but the uniqueness of it would make it worth it. Maybe even drop in a 6.5
