Engine torque squeak on launch.

I am getting a squeaky noise on launch. I don't think its the clutch as I can pump the pedal with no noise. It has to have torque applied to motor. I am thinking its exhaust down pipe / exhaust. It was too hot to move the exhaust pipe under the truck yesterday. But am going to try to make it make the noise shaking the pipe. I am not sure I can get the right frequency of vibration though. What else can squeak?

By the way one of my exhaust hangers is busted. But its not knocking/tapping on anything.

Uhhgg hoping its not motor mounts but yes thought about them (probably not helping the engine torque over movement). How should I eliminate the choices? Spray them with a penetrant one at a time to see if it quiets? Silicone or what do you think would be best?

Don't think its U joints as they felt good when I rebuilt the transmission. A arms are a possibility.

Belt still has movement on tensioner available and its suppose to be a high quality belt not all that old? I will put a bit of conditioner on it to see if it quiets first. It does appear to be on torqueing the motor over at launch when it looses a bit of RPM and adjusts idle (electronic controls on launch then I roll into pedal after it gets going and clutch seems pretty much locked up). Although I am not too hopeful as its not a chirp its more a squeaking noise.

Bring it here for a visit, only about a hours drive or less, we can see if both of us can find it.... yur kids can play in the creek while we play....

if it's really a squeal, maybe the throwout bearing???

I might just do that. Let me see how schedule works out in the next couple of days / week(s). I'll private msg you if I can't make exhaust make the noise.

Been thinking of getting wife to help torque motor launch against brakes but scared she will take opportunity to accidentally run me over trying to pinpoint the noise.

Spline shaft out of the tranny? GM has issues with those torque-squeaking before. Lube em up and instant fix

Ok I think it was the rear transmission mount. I tightened it had a loose bolt and sprayed it liberally with silicone and the squeak is gone so far with a handful of launches.

From underneath the trans did make some noises that were misleading when the mount was loose.

I think I want to eventually replace that rear mount with a poly mount. Any problem with that as a poly mount? Anyone have a bad experience with a poly trans mont?
